Theory Design has outgrown their current studio space and is moving to a more expansive studio and showroom space. They will be relocating to the Miromar Design Center, 10800 Corkscrew Rd., Suite 398, Estero, Florida. Theory Design is currently operating out of Seagate Development Group’s Corporate Offices on Interstate Corporate Drive off Alico Rd, opposite to Gulf Coast Town Center. Seagate is providing their custom renovation services to update two adjacent Miromar showroom spaces to provide more project working space and resource library for the expanding team of talented designers and support staff.

Theory Design, the fastest growing design firm in SWFL, will be officially operating in the new space as of Monday, June 6th, to meet the growing demands of its extensive services. 2022 has proven to be Theory Design’s busiest year since its inception in 2018. The company is currently working on new residential construction projects and luxury home remodel designs with over 40 new projects on the books.

Theory Design has now grown to a dynamic team of 15; including 8 Interior Designers, 3 Design Assistants, a Director of Marketing, an Operations Manager, and an Accountant. Theory Design is currently seeking to hire a back-room warehouse coordinator for inventory management and installation assistance. Theory Design is also looking to hire a full-time CAD Designer.

For part of the renovation, Theory Design is partnering with Adi Selfollari, owner of AWE – Architectural Wood Expressions located outside of Chicago. Upon entering Theory Design’s 6200 sq. ft. renovated space, you will be greeted with a custom-built reception area made by Adi’s team of craftsmen. The reception desk and logo feature wall will be an ebony-stained custom slatted panel feature.  Adi’s team is also creating a custom entertainment bar using exotic woods, honey-hued aniline died eucalyptus, crafted in England, and accented with ebony stained cerused wood and topped off with brass elements.

The studio space will have enough generous workstations for a team of 20. There are 2 conference rooms for team collaboration and client presentations, a Zoom Room for remote meetings, The extensive Designer Studio library has 8 designer worktables, storage for fabric, wallpaper, and finish samples. The space will also include intimate display vignette areas, featuring accessories and furnishings from Theory Design’s favorite lines. A small kitchen area, a print room, and a back inventory and storage area completes the studio layout.

Ruta Menaghlazi is Theory Design’s visionary leader and Vice President of Design. “The Miromar Design Center studio space solution is really an interim step for us. Although the space will be well-designed and generous, Theory Design has more ambitious plans of designing and building our very own state-of-the-art Design Studio with a co-joined showroom and retail space at a non-disclosed Naples location in the not-so-distant future.”, said Menaghlazi.

Theory Design is dedicated to excellence in luxury interior design. Their growing portfolio of concept-to-completion projects displays their work with new construction and remodeling projects for both residential and commercial clients. The design team integrates a holistic design approach that is inspired by nature and modern yet timeless design. Their objective is to engage their client’s lifestyle and infuse their award-winning approach with design aspects that supports the client’s overall wellness and experience.

The Miromar Design Center is Southwest Florida’s ultimate design resource showcasing collections from around the world and leases up to 45 home furnishing showroom spaces.
