Theory Design’s Vice President of Design Ruta Menaghlazi and Lead Designer Adriene Ged are creating the interior design for Seagate Development Group’s furnished Genova model at Esplanade Lake Club, a 778-acre resort lifestyle community being developed by Taylor Morrison. The gated community is positioned on a 352-acre lake. The Genova floor plan includes 3,892 square feet under air and an outdoor living area measuring 1,058 square feet. The open-concept plan features a living area that includes a grand room, an island kitchen, and a dining area. The plan’s study can be tasked as a formal dining room. Both the grand room and the dining area have pocketing sliders that open to an outdoor living area that includes a two-sided fireplace, an outdoor kitchen, and conversation and dining areas. The floor plan also features four bedrooms, four and a half baths, a pool bath, and a three-car garage. The master bedroom’s sitting area also opens to the outdoors. The master suite includes walk-in closets and a bath with dual vanities, a free-standing tub, and a walk-in shower.
Ruta and Adriene’s preliminary design creates a modern interior that reflects a world travel style with art, fabrics, rugs, and accessories that reflect global influences. Earthy colors with neutral backgrounds and textured wallcovering accents will play against warm natural oak flooring. An oversized linear media treatment on the great room’s feature wall will include ebony-toned media cabinets and built-in shelving with a contrasting wall texture.

The gourmet island kitchen will feature a Bosch appliance package with a gas cooktop and double ovens. The island base cabinet and perimeter cabinetry will showcase modern slab doors in warm wood tones that will be paired with light quartzite counter surfaces with a honed finish. A stone slab backsplash will complete the look.

Multiple windows will create a light filled ambiance in the master bedroom while providing exquisite lake views. Modern furnishings with lighter fabrics will include tribal and ethnic patterns. The modern look will carry into the master bath where warm-toned wood cabinets will combine with marble countertops and stone-like tile flooring and shower walls to create a welcoming ambiance. The master bath will also feature a free-standing tub and an oversized shower with rain-head and hand-held fixtures and a contemporary linear drain.

Ruta and Adriene’s design for the outdoor living area will include a modern stone tile linear fireplace, stone-like tile flooring, and an outdoor kitchen with a 36-inch gas grill and vent hood. The outdoor space will also feature an undercounter refrigerator, an island bar with counter stool seating, and conversation and dining areas.

Ruta and Adriene are also designing the interior for Seagate’s furnished Monaco model currently under construction at Esplanade Lake Club. The Monaco model’s 3,299 square feet under air open-concept floor plan features an entry sequence that includes a covered front porch. A great room with beamed ceiling details and a wet bar will open to a covered lanai and an outdoor living area with an outdoor kitchen, a pool bath, and a deck with a custom pool and spa. The lanai and outdoor living area will overlook Esplanade Lake Club’s stunning lake views. Outdoor Productions is designing the model’s landscaping, outdoor living area, pool and spa. The master suite will feature a bedroom with a sitting area that opens to the outdoors, walk-in closets, and a morning bar. The master bath includes dual vanities, a free-standing tub, and a walk-in shower. Two VIP guest suites will feature private baths. The Monaco plan also features an owner’s study, a dining room that opens to the outdoor living area, an island kitchen with counter-height seating at the island and a walk-in pantry, an audio/visual control center, and a three-car garage.

Ruta and Adriene have created a coastal beach style interior with a casually elegant feeling for the Monaco model. Wall tones in various shades of white will be accented by soft tans and warm greys. The palette will play against ten-inch wide plank white oak hardwood flooring. Intriguing ceiling details will be found throughout the home, including reverse soffit details with cove lighting in the great room and study. The master bedroom will feature a beamed ceiling detail. The great room’s wine bar will showcase an attractive base cabinet with a satin matte black finish, a quartzite counter surface, pendant lighting, and floating shelves against a decorative wallpaper.

As planned, the Monaco’s foyer will feature an attractive console table and an elegant bench. The great room’s feature wall and ceiling will be finished with wide wood planks that will be stained to match the white oak hardwood flooring. A clean-lined furniture piece with sliding doors will be finished in black and placed against the feature wall. As planned, furnishings in the great room will include two traditional sofas with grey fabric, a pair of side chairs with a wood detail and cream-toned fabric, two rectangular end tables, and two rectangular cocktail tables placed side by side. The furniture grouping will be anchored by an area rug with a relaxed feeling.

The kitchen will showcase an island with coastal modern counter-height barstools and three chrome pendant lighting fixtures. The island’s soft matte black base cabinet and quartz counter surface will match the finishes at the wine bar. A natural stone Carrara slab backsplash will play against the white cabinetry that will feature matte black hardware and a quartz countertop. Decorative sconces will flank the vent hood.

The adjacent dining area will feature an attractive tray ceiling and pocketing sliders opening to the outdoor living area. Drapery panels will frame the sliders. A slightly distressed white wood dining table will be surrounded by ten Parson chairs with grey fabric.

The white oak plank hardwood flooring found in the living areas will carry into the study. A custom desk is being created to fill an alcove in one corner of the space. As planned, the study’s furnishings will also include a pair of club chairs and a coffee table.

The master suite’s morning bar will have a white finish. As planned, the counter surface will be presented in black quartz. A hallway leading to the bedroom will be flanked by walk-in closets. Ruta and Adriene will continue the color palette found throughout the living areas in the luxurious master bedroom that will include a beamed ceiling detail. An upholstered king-sized wing back bed will be flanked by nightstands and an attractive bench that is expected to be placed at the foot of the bed. His and her vanities in the master bath will feature white cabinetry, matte black hardware, and a Carrara marble slab counter surface. Four-inch marble hexagon tile will grace the floor of the walk-in shower and play against walls finished with white 12 by 24-inch tile.

The outdoor living area’s see-through fireplace clad in light grey ledger stone will be the focal point of a conversation area that will be outfitted with contemporary furnishings and situated adjacent to an outdoor dining area. The outdoor kitchen will include dark grey NatureKast cabinetry with a granite counter surface, an undercounter refrigerator, a sink, and a gas grill.
