Theory Design announces design for Cayman II model at Windward Isle
Theory Design announced Vice President of Design Ruta Menaghlazi has completed the preliminary interior design for Seagate Development Group’s furnished Cayman II model at the Windward Isle community in North Naples. Windward Isle is a gated enclave of 28 single-family luxury homes being developed by Seagate just south of Orange Blossom Drive on Airport-Pulling Road. The Cayman II model that will be completed in April was designed by Weber Design Group. The plan offers 4,102 square feet, including 2,685 square feet of air-conditioned living space, a covered lanai measuring 582 square feet, a 207 square foot covered entry, and a 628 square foot two-car garage. The single-story residence features a spacious great room, dining area, and island kitchen, three bedrooms, three full baths, and a study. The covered lanai will offer a comfortable outdoor gathering space complete with a fireplace and an outdoor kitchen.
Menaghlazi has created a clean-line, casual coastal interior design for the Cayman II that will be both casual and classic. The design is focused on evoking a comfortable, breezy comfortable feeling that will compel the end-user to embrace their surroundings and to genuinely feel at home. As planned, the interior will feature a color palette with soft white walls and warm blue, warm grey, and soft white accents with pops of gold. The flooring will be light-toned Legno Bastone hardwood. A beautiful two-step tray ceiling with trim molding details will be featured in the foyer that will also showcase a weathered oak globe-shaped chandelier. The great room and the study will feature coffered ceilings with tongue-in-groove details that will be painted white.
The great room will also present a feature wall with a media cabinet flanked by colorful art pieces. Furnishings will include a pair of sofas, two end tables, two side chairs, a square cocktail table, and two end tables. A sofa table will be placed behind one of the sofas. A dry bar will include an attractive base cabinet with an under counter wine refrigerator.
Menaghlazi has selected two-step flat paneled white perimeter cabinetry for the kitchen. Cabinets with glass fronts will flank the vent hood. The island base will be presented in a sage-like English Ivy tone. Both the perimeter and the island will feature solid-surface countertops. The backsplash will be fashioned from glass tiles. Chrome pendant lighting fixtures will be suspended over the island and convey a soft industrial look. The stainless-steel appliance package will feature a French door refrigerator, a built-in oven and microwave combination, a gas cooktop, and a Bosch dishwasher. The adjacent dining area will include a dining table with a weathered wood top and dull brass legs.
The master bedroom will feature sliding glass doors leading to a covered loggia, double walk-in closets with built-ins from California Closets, and a two-step tray ceiling. Separate vanities will be included in the master bathroom, each of which will feature English Ivey finished vanity cabinetry, framed mirrors, Kohler fixtures, and a pair of sconce lighting fixtures. Soft white flooring and a free-standing tub will also be included. The frameless glass shower enclosure will feature dual shower heads, corner seats, soft white tiled walls, and a flat-white pebble tile floor.
The Cayman II’s outdoor kitchen will feature a grill, an under-counter refrigerator, and NatureKast weatherproof cabinetry. A large dining area will include a dining table with seating for eight. As planned, a comfortable conversation area will feature a sofa, two side chairs, a pair of end tables, and a rectangular cocktail table. The pool deck will be fashioned from a natural shell stone material with decorative glass tile accents.
In addition to the Cayman II model in Windward Isle, Theory Design is creating the interiors for Seagate Development Group’s luxurious models in Miromar Lakes Beach & Golf Club, Quail West, Talis Park, and Esplanade Lake Club. Seagate’s furnished Captiva model in Hill Tide Estates at Boca Grande is scheduled to be completed next month and will feature an interior design by Theory Design’s Ruta Menaghlazi.
